I don't see how they can come back from losing Tony unless they play Philadelphia every week.

It's going to be tough.  The good thing is they won their first 2 games and the rest of the NFC East looks terrible.  Also, the defense was outstanding yesterday and will get stronger when McClain and Hardy come back in 2 weeks.  I had forgotten what a badass Sean Lee is, he missed all season last year with a knee injury.  He's back with a vengeance now.  Weeden isn't very good though, it's going to be tough to score I'm afraid.

I have to admit that I haven't watched a 'boys game this year, but you wonder how much they're going to miss DeMarco Murray now that Romo and Bryant are out for a bit. He carried quite a bit of the load for the 'boys the past couple of seasons.

I think they are going to miss him a lot, especially now.

Doesnt romo get hurt every season? Is he made of peanut brittle?

I think we'll be alright, especially with the easy schedule and the way the defense is playing.

What the Cowboys need is to create Roger Staubach and Tom Landry clones.

their defense isn't playing all that well.  they could just as easily be 0-2.  the offensive line is looking like crap really.  Losing Romo isn't that big of a deal, their backups seem to do almost as well.  Losing Dez is big though.

Romo..weeden..cassel..they all can lose equally in the first round.

they usually don't even get to the first round

Holding last year's rushing champion to only 2 yards is, their defense isn't playing all that well?

right, watch the games.  they didn't do anything special.  It was an ugly game for both teams.  the eagles offense had a ton of drops, the cowboys had a ton of penalties.  the best takeaway from the game was the special teams TD from the cowboys and the fact that the eagles defense held the cowboys offense to 13 points while being on the field for 40+ minutes.

If you believe JJ, Weeden is the second coming of the good lord himself.

I believe the Cowboy's defense did play well but it wasn't their line that did that to Murray. Murray is running behind what looked to be the worst offensive line ever created. Junior varsity girls soccer would have let less through. He couldn't even get to the line of scrimmage. It isn't his fault. It's going to be even worse for him vs the Jets this coming week.  That Jets defense looked amazing last night....good luck Bradford and that "offensive line"

The whole 13 points on 40 min of possession is going to be the Cowboy's MO until Romo comes back week 11. When Hardy comes back week 4 they are going to rely heavily on their defense and running game. If they go 3-4 before romo/dez come back, they will win the division pretty easily unless Phily figures something out by week 4. Their line looks fine and will get better next week when what's his name comes back  but for the love of god get Christine Michael needs to be put on the field ASAP. He was buried behind Lynch in Seattle and is a very good back. Until romo/dez gets back , i'd wager their game plain will be run, run, pass and as long as they don't have to get into any shootouts, they will be fine(ish).

Why doesn't Jerry sign Rice? He picked up Hardy and he did the same thing. Rice running behind that O-line would awesome.

the offensive line didn't look all that good to me.  They can do an ok job run blocking but they are not good at all in pass protection.  I mean they had first and goal from what the 2 and couldn't punch it in.  a good offensive line gets a TD there, a great one does it easily.

and 13 points in 40 minutes won't normally be the case, that was only because of kelly's offensive scheme and lack of execution.  the cowboys had at least one maybe two more drives than normal.

Cowboys will be lucky to win a game while both Romo and Dez are out

NO looked very bad today without Brees, we'll get that one.
