What is every ones opinion on the best/easy knot to connect braid to leader?

I use the Albright. The terminal knot (usually Palomar) fails before it does.

Actually, to be fair, I have found that when hopelessly snagged and I have to break off, the lure's eye or the snap breaks through the line at the terminal knot. Neither knot fails, but the Albright holds while the line breaks at the stress point.

I used to use the uni to uni knot, now using Alberto knot. I like the Alberto more because I feel it slides through guides better and I can have it tied in less than a minute.I have started messing with the FG knot here lately with great results so far. I think once I learn to tie it faster I may switch to it.

Started with the uni to uni, never had a reason to change. I can tie it quickly and it's a simple knot that holds strong as long as it's tied correctly.

Fg knot is a bit of a pain to tie without much improvement over alberto.

Been putting hitches at end of alberto to tuck away fc leader so it doesnt catch on guides

The knot I use as a fast alternate to the Albright is the Seaguar. I don't like it quite as much, but it holds well.

I'll tie an Alberto if I'm on a boat, an FG if I'm at home prepping for the next day. I'll tie a long enough leader with the FG that, unless I get snagged and have to break off, I won't have to retie a new leader.

There are plenty of knots for mono that won't slip before the line breaks. I use the improved clinch for mono and have ever since my dad taught me. He probably taught me because it was on the package of Stren back in the day. Easy and good. I use only palomar for braid. I quit using floro. I use the double uni for line-to-line on the rare occasion where I use a leader.

I use two different knots. The Seaguar and the Alberto knot. The Seaguar is a little quicker for me, but the Alberto is a little more compact. 

I started with the Uni-to-Uni, then Albright, then moved to the Alberto, and have settled on the FG.  I resisted trying the FG because it looked difficult to tie, but it really isn't.  It's super compact and smooth through the guides.

 

I usually use a heavy leader and I noticed that more often than not, the Uni-to-Uni at the leader failed before the knot at the lure.  The Alberto worked much better for me.  The FG seems to be as strong as the Alberto, but is much smaller and smoother.

Pretty much this. One other knot that hasn't been mentioned that has shown to test out in line with the Alberto is the J knot. Worth checking out.

Ok, here is the problem with uni/uni.  The two loops of line are in direct contact with one another.  The braid will cut the mono line.  (FC is a mono line.)  Breaks occur on hookset.

Maybe I missed it, but I've not seen the blood knot mentioned. Is it not a good braid knot?

The blood knot is best for lines of the same or similar diameter.  That's usually not the case with a braid-to-leader knot.

If you are just starting out tying leaders I would recommend the Albright because of its simplicity.

Make sure you test your finished knot before you get on the water and end up breaking off on a hookset.

The smaller lb test the leader the more wraps you will need.

I use it all the time with braid-fluorocarbon leader and have never had that happen. If it does, I will look into other knots.

Same here. I even use it attaching leader material for wipers and catfish (way bigger and harder pulling than any bass). The only knot failures I've had were my own fault. I've found that if I tighten the braid down first it eliminates the braid cutting into my leader and almost always ends in a very strong, secure knot. 

I use it for pier casting king salmon in early fall. I have never broken it on a salmon, so I would be really surprised if I broke if I broke it on a bass.

I started with blood, mostly because it looked like one I could do with confidence --- I'm not very dextrous.  I tried albright for a bit, but messed up a couple of times and have since settled on alberto.  I can do it even in a boat, even with my fumble-fingers.  I'm confident both in my ability to tie it and in the knot's ability to stand up to anything I can dish out.  It goes through micro guides extremely well and has never failed me.
