Might go, I just saw that they had Eay Scott and Jerry McKinnis last Saturday.

They're biting, guys :) Skipped the Boat Show last weekend to go fishing. With the current forecast, I might skip it again this weekend, too - LOL...

Good to see a few local guys are catching fish.  I don't go back to work until Tuesday. I hope to find some time to wet a line.

What techniques are you guys using?

Mine all came on a hair jig fishing at one of the smaller central Indiana reservoirs.

Our reservoirs are still at winter pool, and I've not explored them during the winter.

How slow were you fishing them?

Josh

I was at our local pond, going back today and tomorrow. I caught all mine on the new Berkley Warpig - Red Craw

Pretty slow, right on the bottom in 8'-12' of water...

I did get out for a few hours yesterday.  I took one fo my boys to wildcat creek park outside of Kokomo. Unfortunatly we have no fish to report. He was fishing a few different soft plactic panfish jigs under a float and missed a few hooksets but had very little action.  I threw a lipless crank, shaky head worms, T-rig ribbon tails, weightless stickbaits, and anything I could cast into the 30mph wind gusts.  We came up empty and I'm still skunked for the year.  This was our first trip to Wildcat park so we were in new water under tough conditions we still had a good time.  As they say, "That's why they call it fishing not catching".

Sorry, didn't realize that you already answered it later in the thread.

Saw they're calling for local temps near 70 next week. Spring bassin' is about to get good. Also saw that the BIB site has started putting back up some new material after taking the winter off. :)

I went for a few hours on Saturday. I got tapped a couple times but couldn't make them commit to solid strikes. The water was up and the wind was really blowing.

Maybe next weekend...

Josh

Anyone got speculations about this coming week? Going to be 60 and 70s, hopefully getting out after work.

I looked at the 7-day forecast this morning and got so excited I drove to town and spent +$30 on jerkbaits. LOL  I can't wait to try out this Shadow Rap Shad I picked up.

Going tomorrow myself. Very warm next week, but a lot of rain and wind is coming with that warmth. Things might get flooded and muddy pretty quick. Monday should be decent though.

I live on a private lake 30 miles N of Indy best bass lake in the state IMO ...we just bought a cabin on Kuhn Lake (Barbee Chain) if anyone here fishes that would be interesting to hear from them

I spent about $50 at Dick's last night for the same reason! Lol. Looking forward to getting out at least. I plan on hitting it Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday and on there is predicted rain but I'll see how muddy it gets.

I'm going to take the kids fishing this afternoon.  Then I'll go by myself tomorrow while they are at school.  I hope this warmer weather gets the fish more active.  I'm still skunked for 2016

I'll be throwing in a couple local ponds, always do well with lipless cranks but gonna try and concentrate on the Ned-Rig w/hula stick and some swim jigs
