What is your recommended line for spinnerbaits in clear water?

Clear, 12# or 14# mono

I use 15# fluoro ( always go fluoro in clear water). You could go up to 20# depending on the lake you're fishing as well

Bunch of different answers. With a graphite rod I use 14-17 lb mono/copoly. If you want the bait to run shallow use heavier line.

With conditions you would use a spinnerbait, for example, muddy water or windy conditions, choppy water. I don't think line shyness is an issue. Fluoro CAN be used. But don't fret if ya don't have any. I think mono keeps more fish on.

I use 30lb braid to a 15lb flouro leader on my spinnerbait rod. After trying other lines, I appreciate the feedback braid provides. 

15# fluoro if you're throwing 1/2oz spinners in clear water. I learned the hard way that 10/12# is too light and lost a couple T-1's last Fall.  Bass tend to slam spinnerbaits when the conditions are right. Just imo 

Trilene XL 12lb. I've tried a lot of others but I always come back to it.

14lb Trilene XT Clear for me.  Sometimes I might use 10lb but it's been awhile since I've done that, even in really clear water.

Check the hook on the spinnerbait you'll be using. The thicker the diameter, the heavier the line you'll want to use. I wouldn't go less than 12lb. regardless.

Since spinnerbait situations change a lot I prefer 30lb braid mainline, then I change to what ever size leader is good for the situation I'm in (open, grass, dirty, deep in water column, up in the top) that way I can quickly changes main lines to do what I want. Figure out how to tie the fg knot correctly and you can't even hear it slip through your guides(main reason I always hated braid)

Yep..good choice.

I use Sunline Reaction, I really like it. It's got a bit of stretch that really helps with my over-the-top hooksets. 

Same thing I use in dirty water, 15lb Big Game.

12 lb Berkley fluoro regardless of water clarity

#12 lb. - #15 lb. CXX copoly.

12lb crystal clear cxx.  I will go to 15lb in trees, but I prefer them on 12 for depth.
