Ironically, the Blue Jays are 2 games over .500 and in last place in the AL East.

 

Compare that to the AL Central.  The Twins are also 2 games over .500 and in first place in that division.

 

He is in a super slump, he has reverted back to who he really is. Ortiz needs to play more at ss.

Grayson Rodriguz was horrible friday night. It’s not just that the command of the off-speed stuff is shaky, it’s that once he misses with just one CB/SL/CH, he seems legitimately scared to throw another one. And guys can just sit FB and crush it.

Mateo needs to sit, he has regressed badly. Orioles have better players in the minors that should be called up such as Ortiz whom they just sent back down to make room for Ramon Urias who just came off the injured list.

The Rangers bats are hot right now, but that’s no excuse. Rodriguez just isn’t ready for prime time IMO. We need to get Means back.

O"s won the sunday rubber game after losing the first 2 to texas. Bautista had a 3 strikeout save. The bats were cold this weekend.

Strider is the fastest pitcher to reach 100 Ks in a season since 1893! Strider hit 100 in only 61 IP. Continues to dominate. 
 

And Mike Soroka is FINALLY back on the bump tonight. If he’s still the pitcher he was a couple years ago, teams better look out. 
 

But if we don’t get some bullpen help, it’s gonna be tough down the stretch.

A quick jaunt to the Central Division standings shows the Twins still leading it with an impressive record of 2 games over .500.  Oh wait, that's the same as the last place Red Sox in the AL East.

 

AL Central is still a complete tire fire and someone has to win it.

 

Are the O"s coming back down to earth? Orioles have 3 rookies  biding their time in the minors that are available to be called up.

They are Cowser, Westburg and Ortiz. They are the orioles future, need to find out if the guys can play in the majors. With the players we have now we arnt going to win much down the road.

Orioles manager Brandon Hyde wanted better at-bats from his club today. Get in more favorable counts. Improve the pitch selection and decision making. Stop pressing and start scoring again.

Kyle Bradish settled down after an unusually rough first inning pitching 5 innings striking out 10 and an offense that was dormant for most of the series bolted upright against the Brewers’ bullpen, with Gunnar Henderson’s two-run shot in the eighth keying a 6-3 come from behind victory. Bautista in for the 9th and gets the save.

Man it must suck to be a Mets fan. 3 straight comeback wins by the Braves, to hand the Mets their 6th straight loss. That walk off HR by Albies was an absolute missile. Braves still leading the East, the Mets are fading fast and doing Met stuff, and all is right with the world.
