 Curious for opinions and suggestions regarding the best (your favourite) swim jig / chatterbait trailer.

I like the gamber little ez swimbait. Comes in a good variety of colors, and they're really durable. They have great action, and they're usually only 3.99 a pack.

I'm really partial to the Zoom Swimming Chunk. They have a ton of action. Great price and excellent durability. 

5-6" zoom or kalins single tail grub!

Anything I got laying around as long as it moves water.

Pit Boss or Havoc Menace rigged sideways.

Swim Senko cut down a little work well but not very durable, Havoc Subwoofer is good also.   

I'm still on the original chatterbait trailer. I just watched a recorded copy of bassmasters where Rick Clunn caught over 30lbs on one day. I was able to pause it once and saw him fixing a paddle tail swimbait on a chatterbait. Talk about a big bait to cast out!

Swing Impact for kick, Easy Shiner for roll, Fat Impact for both.

Keitech Easy Shiner is my go to.

Kalin Mogambo Grub if you want to weed out the dinks.

That's a huge grub you'd need a meaty chatterbait with a big hook!

Like I said, weed out the dinks. I haven't caught a bass under 2lbs on a swim Jig or a chatterbait since making the change. 

Those Mogambos are great on a scrounger as well. 

I don't know what the "best" is, but I catch a ton of fish, big ones too, on a plain old boring 4" power bait single tail grub as my swim jig, and chatterbait trailer. Sometimes I get all wild and crazy and throw a pit boss or chigger craw on the back of them.

Why not get great jig trailers for free?

I've been hoarding my used soft swimbaits, and flipping creatures after the nose is torn up by bass.  Anything with rear end action is useful. Just trim the damaged nose with scissors and use it again as a trailer. Same goes for many plastic worms that have swimming action. Just trim the used ones down to size.

I have lately been going through a lot of Texas rigged Gambler Burner Worms. I might end up with a handful of torn up worms after a spring outing. The usually undamaged rear third of these make particularly effective jig trailers.

Pit Boss or Paca Craw usually I have these left over from other uses I can salvage for trailer material. 

Rage Tail Menace all the time, just wish they were good for more than a fish or 2. I go through them at s record pace!

I feel ya. The Keitech Easy Shiners are the same way! Great but no durability (or I catch to much ;))

Great suggestions guys. Appreciate all the replies! Many of these are already packed into one of my soft plastics binder. Was just curious on what people's "go to" bait has been! Love the Pit Boss rigged sideways suggestion, one of my favorite baits. Thanks all!

I like the PowerTeam Lures Grub or I'll go with any type of plastic swimbait. I usually like to have the bait profile compact
