I  believe Brad's Wiggle has that type of line tie. It's a very similar bait to a wiggle wart.

Believe your right, Brad does use that type of line tie.

better be stowing your secret baits in the rod locker.

Google Brad's fishing gear.  Go to Wigglers and they show a bunch of colors/patterns.

Wouldn't it be funny if the guy tied on some junky lure he never uses, before he rolled into the dock for weigh-in?

I have a buddy who always does just that.

The Brads baits came out a couple of years after Rapala took over Storm.  They came out with an exact copy of Storms Hot N tot, and Wiggle Warts.  I don't know if it is true, but at the time I was told by lots of people that Brads had bought the old molds from Storm.  I bought some and they worked as well as my old Storm Warts for King Salmon in Alaska.

Does anyone here use them for bass?  Do they work as well as the old lures?  Other than the line tie, they sure look the same.

I did this one time on a weekly tournament. I tied on a bubble gum floating worm that a friend had given me earlier in the week. I saw one of my buddies looking in the boat. Sure as heck that guy beat us next week fishing bubble gum worms over a sunken weed bed.

It's a Brad's Wiggler. Brad Schoenborn is a friend of mine.  I will have to ask him about where the molds came from. The local retailer he also works for has the Wigglers on sale  pretty often.  I've been using them for years.  It's a great rip-rap bait.

I passed a buddy during a weeknight tournament and he was obviously struggling. Being the helpful guy I am, when he asked what I'd been catching my fish on I told him a Ned rig on the dam. He ran to the dam and beat our heads in that night fishing a Ned rig. Not only did he win but he also got big bass on a coppertreuse TRD. He said he even lost a couple big ones.

I've had it happen twice now where guys in the tournaments will order baits from me. I'll give them their order before the tournament and then they win that night with the baits they just got from me. Last spring was the worst. I brought the guy his baits and he put nearly 22 pounds in the boat in the 2.5 hours we fished that night, while I had a 5 fish limit that didn't quite weigh 5 pounds  That was about as gut punched as I've felt after a tournament.

I checked with sales manager.  The molds for Brad's Wigglers are not the original Wart molds.  The design was modified to specifically add some cup to the bill.

Thanks for the information.  I have been told by numerous people over the years, that they were from the old mold.  Always wondered if that was just a rumor.  The Brads wiggler in Magnum size works as well as the old Mag Warts for king salmon, way more effective than the ones Rapala made.  Will have to try them for bass sometime.
