Recently I bought a lunkerhunt pocket frog from an online retailer. I didn't realize how small it was until I received the shipment. I really am intrigued by the size but at 1/4 ounce it is difficult to cast any distance on a baitcaster (only reel I use). Does anyone know of a hollow body frog that is still smaller than a normal size frog but a little heavier to cast than the pocket frog? Thanks!

Live target koppers has a nice smaller sized frog. A bit expensive, but very nice.

Look at the Scum Frog.

They're small, light and the softest frog you can buy. I only use baitcaters also and have no problem getting distance with them.

i like the pad crasher junior, only 1/4 oz, but using a mh/fast and 17lb mono/30lb braid you can cast it fine

Another vote for the pad crasher junior.  It caught more fish for me last year than any other lure (except for half of a zinkerz).  The pad crasher supposedly weighs 1/4 ounce, but it feels heavier than the pocket frog junior to me.

I do like the live target frog in 1/4oz. many of the 1/4oz pad crashers i bought were not made well, with hooks bent or the hole on the bottom off center. havnt had this problem with regular pad crashers

Pile it on for the pad crasher Jr never got a bad one and the catch fish. Also like the live target 55s. There are two smaller frogs I haven't tried but I'm pretty interested in are the Ima dabeat, and the baby kahara frogs.

Pop the weight out of the pocket frog and put some split shot in the body or bb's then glue the weight back in. the added weight will make it a little easier to cast and the bb's also act as a rattle if rattling baits are your thing 

I throw strike king sexy frogs normally but when I use a smaller frog I tie on a spro bronze eye jr. Casts like a dream, better hook up ratio than my sexies too, which I attribute to how the hooks rest against the body of the frog. Once I figured this out I took pliers to the bigger frogs and pulled the hooks away just a touch, snag a little more veg here and there but increases my confidence ten fold.

Pad Crasher Jr for me as well. Wish they'd make a popping version of the Jr as well.

Yep, I'm still waiting on a popping Pad Crasher Jr as well. 

Add another vote for the Pad Crasher Jr.

While the Pad Crusher Jr. is a great frog so is Academy's H2O frog.

how do you like those cabelas chuck its? They look good but I never pulled the trigger on them.

why not just put a splitshot inside the frog

Get the Live Target 45 T instead. Very close in size but the body is softer and the hooks expose much better than the chuck-its. The Green chuck-it body is rather stiff while the yellow one is just a little bit softer I have missed quite a few bass with both of them. The hook-ups are much better with the T45.

The Academy H2O brand does have a smaller frog that is 3/8oz and the work pretty well.

I love livetarget mouse in the small size. It has smaller hooks than most frogs but the hook up ratio is amazing. You can shuffle it along like the mouse is scampering or you can walk the dog. I use it half the time I use a holly body frog. The bigger version didn't walk nearly as good.
