I'm sure that about half my tackle box is stuff that I had no need for - that or it's baits that I don't even know how to use, but I couldn't resist buying them anyway.    (My excuse is that I'm just relearning how to fish and I wanted to give myself "options" - boy do I have options!)

spiderwire glo-vis

getting the DI version of the fishfinder for my kayak instead of bumping up to at least one with GPS

kayak i bought for my wife to use, she's used it about 3 times in 2 years....

Nanofil.

Seemed strong enough when you could keep it from fraying, but that seemed to be a rare occasion. Tying a leader on that stuff is an exercise in futility.

This ugly reel. Never have used it, just collecting dust. Could never find a rod I was sure it would look good on.

TroKar hooks.

I'll help you out and take those off your hands, since you hate em anyways...:)

I once bought some Storm wiggle warts at a flea market that I thought were pre-rapala. They were in these bright, gaudy salmon fishing colors. Was going to have them repainted. Upon further inspection,  I learned they were newer warts. Felt pretty stupid. These baits will just sit as a reminder not to make impulsive buying decisions.

Bought two huddgills when they came out.

One swims sideways and never have got even a bite on them!

Boil those bad boys. They defiantly get bit out my way.

I plan on using it at the outboard with the transducer mounted on the transom once I get something with a much larger screen for  up front. I'm convinced that is really all they were meant for to begin with now that I have one.

My new Garmin Echomap 73sv will be here Monday.  :D

There was a design flaw in the initial release batch of one of the rof models.  Boiling won't fix it but the error was corrected

buying a 30$ chinese "14" bearing first bait caster. I probably only caught two fish on it till i upgraded my arsenal. Lol It now is corroded and has plastic pieces... I'm still keeping it for memory sake.

I thought of that when the other fellow mentioned Iowa. It's a great reel but I have more than enough other revos and lews so I have been neglecting it.

I'm generally a fan of MOST Berkley products but Fireline Crystal is like spooling up with dental floss and the knots hold ability is dreadful (the ones I've tried anyway).

I'm sorry I think that the fireline crystal has pretty good knot strength... have you tried a Palomar knot?

I would agree, I never had knot strength issues with fireline crystal, although I typically don't like fishing with fused braid.

A BPS Cat Maxx size 70 reel. I bought a Skaespeare Big Water rod for a trip to the beach. It was just sitting there in the rod holder, mismatched to a size 30 spinning reel. So I decided I needed a catfish reel for it. Now its way overmatched by this reel, which, by the way, has never been used. I'm going to put it on LetGo.

then there was that time I bought a 1986 Procraft Fish & Ski with the Merc Black Max 135 that I never use anymore. I think I'll sell it too.

The First One?The bait monkey has me now.....

Banjo minnow among many other purchases

My wife went fishing twice when we were dating. She doesn't want to go fishing now when I ask, saying "What's the point, I landed the biggest one there is"....

Post that to Pittsburgh's craiglist, that'll be gone in no time.

I was ready to ask if he'd ship.

(just sayin)
