time to reload on small topwater. help me decide since it's been two days already. very indecisive.

Both are too small for me to even consider.

 

Sammy 115 in Aurora Black or MS Am. Shad

Too small for me too - never throw any walking topwater smaller than the Duo Realis Pencil 110 - which is a killer bait.

But I do in most instances prefer the 3 hook variety like the Repo Man and the 4.5" Strike King KVD Sexy Dawg.

And Brandon Palaniuk won the Texas Bass Fest throwing the 5 1/8" Storm Arashi Top Walker this past weekend. (along with a big worm)

Might check that one out.

Yeah already have normal and larger sizes. I catch a ton on other small lures in clear water so want to try some smaller topwater. I catch dinks on the Sammy 120 .

Pencil 85 was way to short for me.  The Dogma's I had were 50/50 on if they would walk right.  For smaller 4" baits, I stick to the Sammy, Gunfish, Rover, and Super Spook Jr. 

Don't want to add to your decision making issue, Owner Cultiva Zip n Ziggy baby bass is the only smaller size walking lure I use.

I will downsize when smallmouth are swatting at the bait.  Sometimes I get a better commitment from them by doing this.  Other times, tossing a nose hooked fluke or wacky hooked senko works better.

I agree on the large Sammy's. They really kick deep water smallies. However, for a day in, day out producer of both large and small bass, it's hard to beat this:

If that is a Heddon lure they don't sell it anymore.  My bad, they do still sell it. Its a Pop'n Image Jr.

Hard to beat a Heddon Super Spook JR for a smaller walking bait.

River2Sea Rover. Gotta get the ProTuned version, though. 

Both the 98 and 128 are crushers for me.
