Are you talking about the pink worms with a ball at the head like a power egg? I just got some of those but haven't had luck with them yet but I didn't get too much time to try them out long enough.

Green Pumpkin Senko with tail dipped in JJ's Chart.  I actually get bored with it after awhile and burn through a ton of them.

 

The other is a BPS Balsa Boogie.  Not made anymore but I got a quite a few of them.  d**n thing just flat catches fish.

It is a combination of baits that Keeps the skunk master out of my boat.

Only lure I had with a perfect record was a lunkerhunt kraken popper. Only perfect because on the first cast I hooked a nice smallmouth and my line broke. So it was 1 for 1 

Xcalibur one knockers in chrome/black. When I need fish, of any species, that's been my go to for years. Only time I ever get skunked is if I'm just testing a rod and reel.

 

If I need clutch, I don't reach for anything other than that Xcalibur. There's a reason they sell for 20 a piece on eBay still to this day.

Nope, But i know what you are talking about and those are called PowerBait Floating Mice Tails.

I personally use the PowerBait Power Floating Trout Worms in bubble gum these are what you want.

You can get these at local walmart or even online.

Even though these are "trout" worms they work on just about every fish other than cat fish around me.

Want to pair these baits with a small hook meant for a panfish/trout/mosquito hook/etc.

After all these are about 3 inches long and can be rigged both weighted or weightless and i'll show you how i rig em.

However, I like weightless more.

WACKY: IT DOES WORK, HOWEVER I WOULDN'T USE IT PERSONALLY.

 THE FISH ARE MORE LIKELY TO JUST TAKE IT AND STEAL IT RIGHT AWAY.

The closest thing for me this year has been a jig and craw, Mann's 1 minus, and a t-rigged Zoom ultravibe speedcraw.

I can only think of 1 or 2 times the last year that a T rigged senko didn't produce and one of those times was during my lunch hour at a small lake. 

My go to lure is a rapala F-11 with the silver sides/belly and black back. I use it along rocky shoreline where there's a gradual depth decline. Bass go nuts for it. Just reel slow initially because it's a floating lure and that'll keep it skimming the rocks. Once you're in maybe 3-4 foot of water quicken the retrieve and give it a little action.
