Broke my PB walleye today on Cheat Lake, WV. I was slow rolling a 1/2oz war eagle spinnerbait and at first I thought I hooked a rock until it shook its head. 30", and 9lbs15oz of MEAN.

Nice waldo. Kudos for your honesty. Most guys would have said 10 lbs.

Don't worry I will too

I would personally mount that. My eyes are huge right now!

I'm going to do some fish prints of it and get length/girth before I filet it. Maybe one day when I'm not a broke college student, I can afford a replica!

Please refrain from posting fish less than 10 pounds in the future. Thanks. :P

Nice fish. If you ever get the chance fish on up the river on the cheat for some big rainbows this time of year. Are you fishing this weekend or going to the last home game of the year.

Great fish!

It's funny because I was just telling my BIL this weekend I've seen some big walleye taken shallow on spinnerbaits this time of year.

Congrats on that beautiful walleye! I never would have guessed that a DD would come out of a small lake in WV.

Congrats. I fish Erie a lot for Walleye and know the kind of fight one that size will give ya. Best fight I ever had.

I’ve caught a 26” and a 27 1/4” but that thing is a BEAST!

I am headed home to Charlottesville and plan to fish! Football takes a huuuuge backseat to fishing for me, I haven't been to a game this year.

I moved to florida last year. It is the first year I have not attended a game since 1987. However this morning I am going snook and red fishing. Life is good.

wow. nice fish! that thing is a tank. Quite the wide range of fish slow rolling a spinner bait can catch. Trout, pike, walleye, bass etc.

We have caught smallmouth, largemouth, spots, walleye, catfish, yellow perch, and white bass in this lake on a spinnerbait

Nice catch! You have a skillet big enough for that?
