Tracker 2018 Heritage/2019 Classic edition boat

Featured Replies

Can someone do me a favor and measure the ground clearance of the low part of the trailer in the middle of the rear? I’m on the edge of ordering a classic, but have a steepish driveway and want to compare with my friends ranger which made it up the driveway. It’s the only thing left before buying one.

  • Hey it floats!  Almost a week and I finally got it out on the water.  I'm following the break-in instructions for the engine, so I couldn't open it up.  I got the first hour out of the way.  I went to

Got my boat today!  Already about to get it opened up to install some gear.  Everything is really accessible and there should be no issues at all.  My dealer gave two tracker shirts to us... Almost ga

I got this Roll-on-Jack a little after I got the boat.  I haven't had to use it yet.  I tossed it in the back of my truck just in case.  I just looked at it again and I will say wow, I didn't pay that much for it!

Here she is, just got home. Eager to get the motor broken in and enjoy. Now to binge on the thread and catch up with the shared knowledge

Wax it.  Wax it now, then wax it again.

Enjoy!

I see you have upgraded the rims. They look good.

Be careful though, the Bait Monkey's middle name is Upgrade.

I had no idea, maybe they're the standard now?

Took the boat out the other day, not one problem.  Very happy so far

I have had my boat for over a year now and have been a long time follower of this thread. I wanted to share some of the stuff I have done to mine since so many people on here have been so helpful getting mine to where it is. Below are pictures of my battery, gas tanks, charger, trolling pedal tray, and  humminbird units. I also put on a SE Sport 400 unit and it really helps with the hole shot, getting on plane and gave me an extra 2 mph on the top end. Hopefully this help others with their ideas and layouts.

Any more shots of that battery compartment?  I'm looking at doing the same, did you just self tap the holders for the second gas tank?  What else is stored in there?

I lost my anchor today!  I was fishing a river and dropped the anchor, I couldn't figure out why I was getting so close to a log jam coming up, pulled up the rope, no anchor :sad5:.

I was using a carabiner tied to a rope which clipped to the anchor.  I guess somehow when I dropped the anchor the rope pushed open the clip and the anchor slipped out  :dontknow:.

The bite had shut down anyway, so I made my way to the launch and went home.  That one small thing put a cloud over the whole experience.

I've got a strong magnet.  Next time I'm there I'll fish for the anchor.  :Bass_Boat:

Lol been there done that. Not a great feeling when you pull the rope up empty.

I hope you get good at fishing anchors off the bottom. ;)

Hello

Does anyone know if the Bass Tracker Heritage Facebook group got shut down, or did I get booted and blocked?

I've tried going to it, but nothing is there. Tried searching for it and it doesn't show up.

Anyone else having problems?

I think @A-Jay has used one of those and said they suck . I always just use the jack from my truck

Yes ~

I did purchase that unit.

Used it once and it did managed to support my rig while I changed a flat tire.

For reference, it was positioned in soft road side gravel (sunk in quite a ways) and seemed to be fairly 'shakey'.

Meaning my fully rigged out 1875 Pro-V Bass & galvanized Shor'Lander trailer was probably very close to or even perhaps past, the Safe Working Load of the unit.

Like I said it worked but I'll not risk using it again -  it went straight into the trash when I got home.

YMMV

Replaced it with this one . . .

Why wouldn't a simple bottle jack work? That's what I used the one time I had to lift my trailer with the boat on it. I feel like I need some education.

Is anyone interested in buying my factory cover? It’s unopened. I have no need for it since the boat is garaged.
