Keep this on the down low, but rumor has it that Glenn is negotiating with Pan Am to provide the winner with air fare for a LMB fishing trip in Alaska, with George Perry as the featured guide...

The joy of the fantasy fishing is you can pick whoever you want. It's your fantasy. Live it.    If you want to pick your favorite angler from each bucket because you like their personality o

One of the best days of Live that I’ve ever seen.

That was awesome! Huge props to Jordan Lee.. but I was pulling for Brent ehlher or matt Lee.. tough one for Christie as well.. great derby

Ended up with Lee, Martens and Pace paying off pretty decently today - esp with all 3 having <10% ownership percentages. Jordan was 5% ownership?  That was too good to pass up.

Hartman tanked me, and Faircloth was picked based on a couple of pundit picks.  My 2 highest owned pros are the ones that didn't make the cut.

Yeah I went ehlher, wheeler, matt Lee, Connell, and Hartman..

I had my hopes up for a bit, but that's how it goes..

This is my first time playing any kind of fantasy thing so idk exactly how it all works.. I just know someone always picks better than I do!

Not quite dead last in the group anymore, but I've still got one heck of a hole to climb out of to stay competitive for the season.

This was my line up for Lake Hartwell. Only one of them that really had a chance to finish first was Ashley and he couldn't do it. Oh well I'll be ready for the next tournament. My points are still looking pretty good. Looking forward to picking the winner of the next one. Praying I do anyways...lol. ?

Next up is the Sabine River . I'll have my picks in as soon as they become available . Look at the map of Orange Texas . Canals , backwaters , horseshoe bends...  Its going to be a different tourney , thats for sure .

21st place this time. A giant step up from the last one. Moral victory lol

It's going to be really different since Louisiana waters are off limits.

Sabine river picks are in . My team is loaded with shallow water river rats who have done well here before . I'll probably wind up  near the bottom again . I suck at this . :)

I went from tied for last to 81st. Huge hill for me as well since I didn't get my picks in time for the Lake Martin event. :annoyed1:

The nice thing is that the anglers are all spread out through the buckets. You can pick up some serious steals in D and E.

I am going to try to change our culture and share my picks early

A.  Adrian Avena:  A versatile competitor who has a nack for cashing checks and is a solid flipper

B.  Mark Daniels Jr.:  Dude is a stud and has the right mentality and eye to find that hidden spot.

C.  Gerald Spohrer:  River rat who is due for a solid finish...lots of backwater fishing success.  Almost picked Mcclelland for similar reasons.

D.  Bill Lowen:  Understands current and is a limit getter

E.  Randal Tharp:  Proven heavy grass flipper, frogger, chatterbaiter.

Hanselman

Hackney

J Pow

Lowen

Benton

some reason these guys stuck out to me so I picked them.

Always amazed at the number of pro anglers that come out of Alabama. Hard to not pick a roster that is mostly made up of Alabamians.

I thought of Grigsby...if the bass are on beds

Combs has placed in the money 64 out of 80 tourneys . That means he can catch then anywhere . Heres how my luck goes . I picked him in the first two events and he wasnt even close  .  This time he will probably win it ,  being I didnt choose him for a third straight event .

Hmm. This one is harder than it looked at first. Still splitting hairs over a few spots, but here's what I have at the moment:

A: Rojas

B: Martens

C: Crews

D: KVD

E: Tharp

But I also really like the picks of Daniels (B), McClelland (C), and Grigsby (E) mentioned above.

Well, looks like Sabine is being postponed due to rising water forecast.  No clear date yet for when the tourney will start - might be next week, could be longer.

Also - Mark Davis is out for the season to have a hip replacement done.

i have a team set but i am waiting till the last couple days for any changes or thoughts on some guys.

With high and presumably muddy water , I'm tempted to replace Grigsby but then he would finish in the top 10 . Every time i change an angler that happens , so I'm sticking with him .
