Ok, here's my picks and their current estimates as of 2 PM on day 1.

According to Basstrak, I am looking good.  4 of them are in the top 18, with Elam #1 and Wheeler #3.  As usual, the one pick I wasn't worried about (Lane) is the one struggling.

 

If Elam holds on o the top spot today, that will be 4 straight days of Classic competition where I had the end of day leader (I was fortunate to have both Ehrler & Lee last year).

Another fun fact: I’ve been keeping an eye on Bobby Lane’s classic record for the last few years. There was no way I wouldn’t have him on my team this year. Look up his stats in the classic.

super excited my buddy Ryan Butler is slowly moving up. he is at 29 right now. had to put him in my list cause being child hood friends means a lot where i come from.  lol

Me too. Here was my team a month (!) ago:

That would be, as of this moment, 1st, 9th, 10th, 13th, 14th.

 

Instead I have 4th, 8th, 9th, 29th, and (gulp) 49th.

According to basstrakk. 

Ive got 4 in top 12 before weigh in.  Faircloth not far back.  Hard to tell what tomorrow brings, especially with tight weights.  A pattern may blossom or die in a heartbeat this time of year.  The "assault" pattern may be the only given.

Bobby looks to have repeated from 2 yrs ago with only 4 fish. I dropped Brent last night smh

Well, so far, both Marty and Bobby's bags together don't match 1st place.  Glad I didn't make that last minute change I was thinking. 

 

What happened to Skeet Reese?  Did he fish at all today? Looks more like a DNS?  I wasn't able to tune in much.

Got three in the top 10 which includes Christie. I really thought Hackney would do good.

 

 

Ive got 4 in top 10 and Im still not ranked high in leaderboards....thats the problem with the classic.  Need to basically pick 5 of the top 8 to win anything.

I haven't been able to watch a day of Live for a long time, so I'm thoroughly enjoying this day even though my team is tanking. To be fair, I probably shouldn't put any stock in what I'm seeing, because BASSTrakk is more like BSTrakk this week.
