Favorite Siebert jig color?

Featured Replies

Looking to place an order.  I’ve had lots of luck with Black/Blue.  What’s your favorite color?

i like greens and browns, and anything with chartreuse, orange or purple highlights.  For instance, PBJ, Black/brown/amber, Summer craw, Bama craw, Brown craw, Green Pumpkin-purple, Missouri craw, Sweet Craw....I recommend getting the dredge jig pack -- has a bunch of popular colors with the head style of your choice and a great hook.

Solid black.

I fosh pretty clear waters up here so natural crawfish based colors work best for me. So, greens and browns. I have a fondness for blue in my jigs and bottom contact plastics, so blue craw is a confidence color for me. A lot of other green pumpkins with different color accents work well. I've had lots of success with PB&J too.

I am convinced that 99% of the time, and regardless of techniques, you only need

Black/ blue

Green pumpkin

And possibly a brown mix

When I'm swimming a jig, I like something that is more shad/baitfish like.

I really like the bluegill flash and the golden shiner.

Trust me and 24/7

Sweet Craw is a killer pattern up here in the north.

Sounds good! There are so many colors they tie that look awesome. I may have to branch out a bit more than usual on my next order.

Last year I picked up some of the Falcon Lake Dredge Brush Jigs with Falcon lake rage tails and did great on them. Usually its Candy craw or Blue Craw. For some reason I can't buy a bite on black and blue

Get basic jigs and use the trailer for flair.  No need for 100 color jigs.  Gman uses black or brown.  I add green pumpkin because I'm a rebel

I don't even paint mine anymore. I use the skirt and trailer for color. I paint my walleye jigs cause I usually have meat on them but that's about it.

I have no doubt you are correct, but I'm a sucker for a skirt.  Just can't help it.

Lots of good colors here.  Thanks for the input all.
