@scaleface, I saw your lineup and my initial reaction was "No wonder he is in last place, he is picking guys who left the Elite series for BPT".   It took a moment to realize it was the Clas

@scaleface couldn’t help but laugh at the weight it’s crazy to think it might actually take that!!!

My team finished in 2, 4, 13, 37, and 53rd, yet I somehow managed to be 216th overall on BASS and in the 99th percentile. What an event considering I felt blind making my picks given the nature of tidal tournaments.

I was in the 49th percentile two weeks ago. Now after these last two tournaments I'm in the 85th percentile. Things are starting to look up after a rough start to the year.

That’s a pretty good showing!! I think a lot of people had jwill which gave them some extra points. My team went 2,5,6, 13 and 23. I got no bonus points and ended up 29th.

Wow!! Three in the top 10 and all 5 in the top 25 is super impressive.

I basically got destroyed at Winyah Bay lol.  Oh well, on to the next one

Yea I got lucky I rolled with guys who I thought would fish well on a tidal system and tried to go with low ownership, almost worked

I think they only pay out first overall

You may have noticed that you moved up in the standings, even if you had only an average start today.  Historically, back to back tournaments in the middle of the year mean about 10% of the participants will forget to set their lineup for the 2nd tournament.  We had 8 people who had not missed an event fail to set a lineup in time for this weeks tournament, including a couple of guys who were in our top 10 (BMci84 & stratoliner92).

On a side note, currently our top 2 point leaders (Odell015 & Bigfishadventures78) are in the top 50 for the entire contest (39th & 45th respectively).  Pretty darn good out of 23,500 entrants.

Yep, that was me. Forgot to set my lineup.

There's 78 people playing along, but only 8 people subscribed to this thread. I highly suggest that everyone follows this thread so you don't miss out.

I really screwed up. I was sitting somewhere around the 98th percentile and missed making a team for the last tournament. Now I'm down to 65%ish. There's always next season. My username is RivetSmasher.

We are under way on Lake Fork! 8:25AM local in Texas right now and Chris Zaldain already has a 7-4 lunker.

This tournament is different from other typical Elite events. Each angler has a marshal with him who weighs each fish as they catch it and then it's released. The only exception being if an angler catches a fish over 24", in which case, the anglers will bring that fish to the stage for the official weigh in at the end of the day.

All that being said, my team is:

Livesay
Benton
Combs
Prince
Sullivan

I've been waiting for your post, the high water levels should make this tournament any mans game. My roster isn't much different, other than I got Zaldain, Canterbury and Clunn (prays he has patience for weigh ins):

Canterbury

Zaldain

Combs

Clunn (wild card)

Sullivan

You're absolutely right. 8:30AM local right now down there and there's already 5 fish over 6 pounds that have been weighed. This is going to be an absolute slugfest.

I wish I could watch, lots of big girls up shallow. 98lb,3oz might be way too low for a tie breaker.

You think? Zaldain has 30-10 at 10AM!

Hopefully I won't need it [fingers crossed]. Looks like Crews and Cobbs are in the top 5. Didn't realize that Bassmaster live streams on their website.

i am not doing to hot this year.

but here is my names

Stetson Blaylock

Mark Menendez

Jesse Tacoronte

Cliff Prince

Robbie Latuso

been watching the bass trax and live. i am kinda upset they dont have a track on combs. i know he is doing good but can he over do zalin

I had Zaldain on my roster for a while and then took him out last minute.  Now my highest placed angler is like 23rd.  One of my guys doesn't even show he's caught a bass yet. Gross.

Does anyone else have issues with the email update?  I got my results for day 4 of winya last night
