I picked up a pack of curly tail worms and Creature baits by Magic Lures.  The color was listed as Translucent Clear.  They feel really soft and the ribs should displace a lot of water. The scent is built right into the material. The web site says a bass' ability to see in water is 12 times greater than a human so i'm giving them a try. They're a little hard to rig if you get some.

Dye the tail with a little chartreuse.....for your benefit! ?

Funny.  I would not have done any worse last Saturday

As I said in another thread; You can tell it's been a long winter.

That's good, because I can't even see those worms.

I think they lied. The top one is tetanus colored.

You should really try to rig those so they're straight...

Heavy salt content I guess. My biggest concern in the hook and weight will detract from the bait itself.  I'm not giving up on them yet. The concept has merit in my mind.

I've heard of the 'do-nothing' style worm but not the see-nothing worm.

Is this 'the houdini worm' that I've hard nothing about ?

If would go with a gold plated hook and sinker, prevents rust and adds light reflection to attract strikes.

Your knot on the 2nd one is about to fail.

Looks to me as though they’re gonna tear pretty easily. Hope you didn’t pay a lot for a pack of them.  The good news is they shouldn’t interfere with hook penetration.

I dipped the tails of the creature bait in blue Spike It.  There is a subtle contrast to the body color and I think it may help. I really like the slender profile and added appendages.
