8lb 4 oz

The bass on the board is about 1" back from the end making it 24", the girth looks about 80% of the length, based only on that limited info the bass weighs 9.22 lbs. or 9 lbs 3 oz.

Why is the bass so dry looking?

Tom

9.23 lbs

The lower jaw is touching the end of the board, look at the shadows.

I used the Roland Martin length and girth to weight calculator originally. It's hard to guess the girth by a photo, but viewing the shadows she's thick.

Unless his calculator is whackey she's over 10 lbs.

I guess we'll see soon enough.

Yeah, and if you close it's mouth, now the fish is an inch from the end of the ruler, and It's Roland Martin's calculator, so why wouldn't it be whacky? SON!

Nice fish!!  I say 10 lbs 2 oz

Measure with mouth closed, mouth open gives false length. Weight regulates body mass and girth measurement is need to take a WAG.
