Rather buying Football, grass, flippin and other Jig heads.. What's the best Jig for everything? That all around all purpose Jig.

Dirty Jigs pitchn jig.

I really like the 6th Sense Divine Hybrid jigs for most applications.  Next would be a Dirty Jigs Tour Level Football jig.

I found my Jighead. It's from Boss and their called dock knocker jigs. Good Arkie Jighead.

When it comes to jigs everyone has their own personal repertoire of confusion!

What I look for in a jig is a smooth transition from the line to the eye & around the belly, which requires the eye to be slightly rolled forward. The reasoning is I want my jig to follow the line up to the cover & then slide over or through the cover smoothly.

I want a head design that wide at bottom which allows the jig to sit up straight, not necessarily a stand up head design.

I want a quality brush/weed guard & a quality hook.

This happens to be a Hack Attack Fluorocarbon Jig.

I often said that if I had to have 1 type of jig and only one it would be the ball head. Jack of all trades and master of none it is just as much at home in grass as it is  wood and rock. All you need to do is match the right hook and you are good to go. That is why they make ball head jigs with 90 degree and 60 degree hooks, regular and flat eye versions in light, medium, and heavy wire so there is a ball head for every situation.

Not a bad Jig. I rather get a pack of Boss jigs for $6 and buy skirts for $3.50.. You save a lot of money

To each their own....

I'd rather just go with a quality Siebart that fishes right out of the package. Then again, I don't have much time to fish, or do anything else at the moment. Busy season

Quantity over quality isn't always the way to go...just food for thought. Good lucj in your choice!

Siebert Outdoors. Best made jigs. They will make you a believer.

I guess this means there are at least a dozen all around best jigs! :) Can't you guys all give the same answer for once? ;)

I love an arkie head but I'm a big fan of the boss wood Walker jig.  Love the d&l advantage jig and baby advantage jig.Bought like 40 after a decent tournament once.

BOSS dock knocker heads are great. Good hook and perfect weed guard angle imo. I pair mine with dirty jigs skirts.
