I was super excited when I heard about the Edge boxes. But then I saw the price...ooof. Maybe some day if the price come down or I find them on a good sale. 

 

They'd definitely be a more organized option that what I use now tho (size 3700's, everything jammed packed). But they're also $30 more per box. Plus I can fit more cranks into these cheaper models...

 

 

 

BTW, unless you use boxes that are rust-proof, I recommend getting some of these gel packets and throwing a few in each tray/box. 1 gram packets, 200 packets. They'll suck the moisure out of the box to prevent rusting. Super cheap. And you can "re-charge" them after they've been used for a while  by putting them in the microwave. I just toss them and add more since they're so cheap and a bag will last a long time.

I saw the price of the Edge boxes and balked. Prolatch 3700s with dividers separating type and yes, gel packs. To prevent tangled hooks - Owner Treble Safety Caps.

Talc powder can also work to keep baits dry.

You’ve definitely got a nice crankbait collection. One thing that bothers me is all the hook rash your getting on those beautiful baits I recommend rubber bands or hook bonnets to minimize that. I personally keep all my crankbaits in there own slots with rubber bands to reduce hook rash as for rusting I use the bullfrog strips in my boxes keeps the rust out.

You know, surprisingly I don't get any hook rash. I think it's because they're packed in so tight when the lid closes that they really can't move around.

Someone in the other thread about this box mentioned their hooks getting stuck in the little peg thingies and being difficult to remove. Kinda looks like hairbrushes back when I had hair.

 

Also the photo in the OP shows them arranged in the box vertically. The website doesn't mention the dimensions of the box but I know it isn't 4 inches tall. Their photos show the cranks laying down.

I like the EDGE series but the best crankbait boxes I've found is the Plano crankbait specific. They make several versions and they're 3600 size so they fit perfectly in my kayak side pockets and crate. Also, they have a slot so the trebles fit down inside and minimize tangles and rash.

Hate to rain on the Edge parade because I really like the jig box. To me this seems way expensive and not hold a lot of baits. I will keep my sub 10 buck deep plano 3700 and use rubberbands to keep the hooks from tangling. The deep Plano I take on vacation holds 115 cranks which includes some deep divers.
