Largemouth! Picture a spot as looking like a largemouth yet having a smallmouths mouth.

Nice fish! What did you catch them on Cody?

Quick way to tell is feel the tongue.  LM are smooth, spotted bass have a rough patch.  Yours are LM.

Last years catch was on a green pumpkin 12” Mag Ol’ worm. The haul from yesterday was actually caught on a little zoom Finesse work in green pumpkin magic! The fish were hammering that little sucker. One worm caught me 3 fish including that one!

Simple way to tell the difference detween LMB and Spotted bass is the dorsal fin is connected on Spotted bass like a Smallmouth bass. Teeth on the tongue may or may not be present, coloration varies greatly for both bass species. The photos don't show the dorsal fin. With the mouth wide open it's hard to tell where the eye is verses mouth hinge.

Big head and mouth indicate a LMB.
