Seems like keitech fat impacts start sliding off keeper after first fish how are you guys making them last several fish. Is wire keeper the answer? Mainly use poison tail with widegap 3/0 or walleye head with lightwire hook. 

 

I use a 'spring-lock' keel-weighted hook (Never superglue).

If the coil tears plastic out of the bait, I'll just bite 1/4" off the head.

Will let A-Jay answer for himself but I'd say by the time I can put the bait on and cast out, I am done letting it dry.

Not long.

Only seconds - like 10 maybe.

If you're not familiar with using these products.

Practice a time or two with old baits & hooks until you get the 'feel'.

Not a steep learning curve but over use can result in fingers and baits becoming one.

Acetone comes in handy right there.

Just like Neds I glue them at home and re-tie when it's time to change tails.

I pour my own head with a screw lock, keeps them in place.  It can be a little challenging at first rigging them on the screw lock because of their length but after a couple it is no problem.

Threw them some the past couple weeks and found similar, about half a dozen or so fish per bait (6-8) for me using a double wire keeper jighead setup. Haven't tried gluing yet (good idea), but like RoLo, cutting the nose down a bit and rerigging gets you a couple more fish each time.

Yep, super glue is your friend.

 

ive used glue on the FATs, 3.8” & 2.8”, as well as the 3” & 4” easy shiners.  And most often on the little 2” Easy Shiners when getting into a school of Crappie or white bass.

Super glue.  I remember seeing somewhere years ago when Keitech took off that they recommend using glue with their baits especially with the easy shiner. 

A screw lock will make a big difference IMO. Gama and 6th sense have good screw lock swimbait jig heads.  I've used the Matt Allen dirty jigs head and similar, like the Berkley fusion, but they aren't nearly as durable for a keitech as screw locks. On the gama I could pretty much fish it until something bit off the tail.

 

Home is the only place I use Loctite Super Glue.

If you find Super Glue on my boat, I'll give you my trolling motor

Wire keeper on a head that I pour will get me a half dozen fish if they don't bite the tails off, sometimes 10 or 15 fish if I'm lucky.
