I can’t narrow it down to one, but 4. 
 

Forever favorites are a 5” Kalins single tail grub and a tube, brand doesn’t really matter as many different brands catch them for me. These two baits are the most versatile and I feel I could get it done anywhere in the world that has bass with them. 
 

Two newer are the Arsenal Assault bug and the Rage menace.  
 

A bait I wish would play well with other plastics the Z man Zinkerz would make the list if I fished it anymore. Just use too many normal plastic baits to want to carry baits that don’t play well with others. 

This is kind of an absurd question.  It's like asking what's your favorite tool.  Uhm.....the right one for the job.

My favorite , and seems has been for ever is Culprit Red Shad .

PowerWorm, RoboWorm and Zoom baits are always ready to be thrown but Salty Spiders, tubes, and grubs might be tied on. 

Zoom 6" lizard in black saphire.  Works as a T-rigged worm pretty well.  But rip the head off and it makes a great jig trailer!  For smaller jigs, rip it below the shoulders.

I use Yammoto senko  with o rings and put them back in the bag... last two years I caught 90% of my bass on just two of them. Always have one of them tied on and they last, usually slide up the line as you land the fish.

OK I have to ask, how many fish is that then on two worms? I cant get more then 3 fish on a Yamamoto Senko without total destruction of the bait.

It depends on use, you have to watch the spot where the o ring compresses the bait and relocate it slightly for longevity. constant compression will degrade the worm. I slide the hook under and use it to move the o ring some. Not hooking the worm makes them last longer.

 

I usually loose it to a branch or similar situation where the hook gets pulled into the tip and ejects the worm while you are attempting to recover it.

 

I do have worms with a good 5 -8 fish and still go back in the bag.

 

When I fish with my wife's god son [buys yamamotos in bulk] goes thru a bag or two every time we fish together and I usually loose ONE...

 

I haven't bought a bag, other than to try a different size to try, in a good 5 years now though I didn't fish that much before getting a boat 2.5 years ago
