A heddon sonic. Never seen one before and I think they have been discontinued a long time. Hooks are in rough shape but otherwise it's not bad. Don't know much about them.

First lure I ever bought specifically for bass in 1976.  Landed a bass on my first cast.  Two sizes, Sonic, and Super Sonic.  I have seen early models made of wood.  The plastic version is one of Heddon's all time best sellers. I quit fishing Sonics, after  buying my first Rattle Trap in 1978.  I still have a couple Super Sonics and caught a bass last spring on one.  I'm sure they still work as well as they did years ago.

I was told as a kid to buy up every yellow Heddon Sonic I could find.  The Sonic was too light for me to throw. Then I found the Super Sonic, and it was on.  I still throw that little dude.  Its a summer and fall killer.

I only have one super sonic left.  Lost the rest pond fishing around 30 years ago.  Around here a white sonic with a red head was quite the fish catching bait.

I have a few. And I'll still use them where I want a small light lipless.

I had a little black one with a lightning bolt on the side that caught all sorts of fish.
