GYCB Craw Trailers For Jigs

Featured Replies

Between the Flappin Hog or Psycodad which would perform best as a jig trailer? Wanted as another option to the Rage Craw.

So do I re Rage Craw. Just looking at carrying a different look. What got me looking at the Psycodad was it could be used on a Chatterbait. But the colors are kind of eye popping, maybe why they call it psycho.

Never used a trailer on my chatterbaits, only my jigs.

Psychodad is an awesome trailer. Use it alot. I also like the 3.75 flappin hog in the summer but I pinch the long center apendages off when using it as a jig trailer.

Well, before there was the Rage Craw I was Mr. Flapping Hog. I still own a lot,

but I don't think I have fished the Hog in several years. Maybe I should try again.

For me, the Rage Craw, Baby and Lobster rule.

Regarding the GYCB Craw...It's o-u-t for me.

That’s food for thought.

I'll be the person who doesn't answer the question, but gives my 2 cents.  The good old 5" double tail grub is a go to for me.  Rage bug/craw in the warmer months, and double tail grubs in the colder months (or a beaver).

I've not used the psychodad but the profile looks similar to the Punch CrawZ, if you want a bait that will last all day on your jig.

GYCB Jig trailer; Cowboy or DT grub, simple and bass eat them.

Thanks all for the responses and ideas!

I've never used either one, but since we're talking about GYCB, I'll chime in. I love the Fat Baby Craw on finesse jigs!
