Just a quick question: Which is the Oklahoma blade?

I thought it was the bottom one which is/was a terminator blade? Is terminator still producing? 

They both look the same to me.

I think it is the top one.

The top one is the Oklahoma (or turtle, or olympic, or mag willow)

The bottom one is terminator's (now Rapala's) proprietary one.

They're still making them in the stainless steel version I think.

 

Once Rapala bought Terminator, they stopped making the T1 Terminator which has a titanium arm.  Its too bad because this model had unrivaled durability that could even stand up the vicious strikes of northern pike.

They're both Oklahomas.  The top is a 'regular' and the bottom is what I believe terminator called 'beveled' blades, this one an oklahoma. Somewhere in my box of ne'er do well baits i have a couple old titaniun baits with beveled willows.

If someone can give me information on the Terminator blade:

The part that attaches to the spinnerbait arm, is that a flat surface from the spilt ring to the crease at the bottom of the blade or does it have a slight cup?

The part that looks bent on the sides, is that a flat bend from the crease to edge of blade or cupped?

For a size ***, the blade is "cupped" towards the point where the 3 creases meet. The portion from the hole to that point is essentially flat. The other 2 symmetrical areas have a slight curvature. if laid flat convex side up the distance from the base to the point at the apex where the creases meet is approx. 3.75 mm.

Looks like you got flushed down the ****** filter. ?

I caught a ton of bass on these Terminator blades this past year .I had two Titanium framed ones . The first one caught enough fish that it broke and I lost the blades . The second one same thing but I didnt lose the blades . After transferring the blades to a new hand poured bait , I continued to slaughter the bass with them .After 30 to 50 bass  I then transferred the blades to another bait and so on . Then one day after retying I launched that bait into the stratosphere . Oh well . They are good blades and I wish I had more .

I’ve had the same thing happen with spinnerbait wires.  I’ve started wrapping the bend with old braided line.  Then I cover the wrap with shrink tubing.  It more than quadrupled their life expectancy .
