Picked up a few packs of the cut r worms because I like trying something new all the time. I love all the rage products I think they are some of the best plastic's in the business. I assume you fish these weightless over grass or slow roll them off the bottom? What are some of the best ways you guys like to fish these thanks!

Usually just weightless, but there are lots of ways to rig and fish these.  Check out the advice from Steve Parks, the Rage Tail designer:

 

I often fish them with a very light weight Texas rigged, and swim them through and around grass. Also if you haven’t yet I highly recommend getting the Ned version of these and swim one on a 1/10-1/8oz head if you’re having a day with a tough bite. They catch a ton of fish. 

 

I fish them like any other Texas rigged worm. I use a 3/16 or 1/4 oz. slip sinker and 17# test line. I'll drag it, hop it, or swim it on the bottom. I haven't tried it weightless but I'm sure it would work.

Most of the time I use 3/16 unpegged and swim it all over. 
It’s also deadly pitching vertically through lay downs and isolated vegetation. 
 

If you’re gonna swim it, rig with the flange facing out.

Caught some nice bass tossing this Texas-rigged to laydowns and cypress trees.

No stores around me even carry them, been wanting to try them. I just have to convince myself that I will have to order some online I guess. I even have a hard time finding speed worms.

Carolina Rigged, Shaky Head, or DropShot. There's even a Ned version!

 Not that I know of, I have looked near the rage tail section and all I ever see is craws, bugs, space monkeys. Although with the store remodeling things keep moving every few weeks lol, that makes it dangerous for me and the bait monkey. I go in for one thing and spend 30 minutes in there trying to find what I went to buy and usually come out with more.

Got 2 Ned packs yesterday going out to try them. I will be using 1/16 berkley half head jig with it.

I just started using them on a biffle head... It works on that too.

You mean flange up or down when rigged weightless?

They are super versatile. Swing head, t rig, carolina rig, shakey head, and the reason I got them is to Neko rig. Im sure they would be good rage rigged too. Ive had best luck so far on a t rig and I do one big hop and let it flutter down.

Weightless rig tail pointed up. 
When swimming either as a Rage Rig or with a bullet weight, rig with the tail pointed down so the water is picked up on the flange. 
 

The pull tab is designed to be removed as it is there to keep the tail straight. 
However, I’ve had a lot of success leaving it attached. 
Try both ways, your fish will tell you what they like. 
 

This bait is deadly no matter which way you use it. It’s saved a lot of days when they didn’t what anything else.

I did get a few hours in using 1/16 ned cut-r. Got a 14" one on the 4th cast and one after about 20 minutes then nothing for about an hour switched presentations. Came back to it here and there in the rain and got a real dink 8" or so.

 

I had an issue though with excessive line twist that I figured out was being caused on the fall. As I gave slack line I could see the worm spiraling to the bottom so fishing 20fow its twisting quite a bit. I also was just hopping it up 2 feet or so then let if fall and could see it again spiral. The worm was on very straight and tail out to the side. With steady retrieve no issue it ran true no twisting/spinning tail just flutter very nicely. I pulled the tail off and twisting went away. Will try 1/8 ounce jighead next outing see if added weight will stop twisting.

4/0 Gamakatsu EWG Offset Worm Hook, 3/16 tungsten bullet weight, tail down.

I like #12 Tatsu on baitcasting gear.

Thats the color of the 2 packs I bought. Also dipped the tail in JJ's Magic for some extra pop.

I fish it similar to a senko but a little faster.....  1/8oz bullet weight, bounce it and swim it, let it drop and repeat.
