I love fishing big plastics like the megabass freestyle swimbait.

I find myself looking for other flavors.  I’m here sitting in an awful WebEx meeting and I started googling stuff.  Poof. I found Japan Fishing Tackle.  Oh o.  What’s this?!  The Stealth Swimmer?  TW sold out.  I ordered them from Japan.   Looks totally cool to drag thru grass flats and such.

any tips?  Headed out this weekend of wildfire smoke clears out some.

Looks like a cool swimbait!

How long is this bait.? If it's over or around 6", then I would cast it out, let it hit bottom, and slowly bottom bounce it. Make it look like a fish feeding off the bottom, so no need to pop it up to high, about 6" or so works.

Also try other retrieves, like slow rolling it just off the bottom.

Just saw that these are a tad over 6".

Very good bait. As said my best results have been keeping it on the bottom. But I have also had luck when they were suspended and just swimming it thru. They also work great along grass lines/edges. You can get them in the US at The Hook Up Tackle.

Good bait. I’ve caught some fish on em. The magnet falls out pretty easily.  Pretty weedless tho.    I’d rather fish other weedless baits. The new Real Prey weedless is awesome. I used to love the weedless hudd. But the Real Prey took their spot.  The weedless hudd has caught me a ton of fish, but also cost me a ton of fish. The Real Prey has a better hook up ratio.

I have had good look with the 6in Mag Draft so I started looking for an alternative and this bait will probably be the ticket.   Thanks for sharing.

I just got them delivered!  Unfortunately I’m stuck at office.

i will try them this weekend after I put a chartreuse stripe down the side with a scent marker.

I’ve been thinking of trying the types of swim bait in the OP, too.

I got them today.  After banging my head for forgetting to order the “other” Japanese bait I’ve been dying to try (could have piggybacked and saved the shipping cost), I opened the box.  Very cool looking.

I didn’t open the package because I had an awful work day and simply wasn’t in the mood. I got the plain shad color so I can color them up a bit myself like A-jay does.   I’ll try them in the grass flats in Clearlake. Hopefully Saturday.

IIRC, the Tatcicalbassin guys recommended natural/ghost colors for swimbaits when Matt and Tim lived on Clearlake. May want to try the bait before adding any color to it, and see how it does.

**I mistakenly thought this was a: "1-800 - Bait Monkey Support Group" so when I called and nervously  launched into: "How my wife wants me to come to grips with my bass tackle buying" - the guy on the other end hung up on me !! ... I guess it pays to read more than just the title of a new post (I'm sooo embarrassed) !
