I picked up a pack of 13 Fishing Bubble Butt Worms for $2 out of a clearance bin and had never seen them before.  Tried them out yesterday. 

 

I wasn't catching anything on the usual stuff so I put one of these on and caught 4 in just 15 minutes.  How did these not hit my radar?  And what the heck is Donkey Sauce?   It really stinks, like death and fresh fish.  It's also a pretty versatile bait.  It's marked for hook placement and the head can be torn off to fit a jig head. 

 

Anyone else use these?

 

 

 

Never used their baits but 13 Fishing says

 "Donkey Sauce," is a proprietary formulation of amino acids and proteins that stimulate feeding and aggression in predatory game fish.

It smells like it.  Whatever it is, it's worse than day old chum.  

13 has a couple soft plastics out.  Its a stiffer plastic, that gives the swimbaits a good amount of roll which I really for swimjigs.  Someone else has a similar scent to that donkey sauce but I cant remember who it is.

I was thinking I smelled this stuff before but not as pungent.   It might be OSP or Depps.  One of them has sort of a rotten egg and garlic smell.  It's similar but different.

Its a known fact that Donkey meat is the most appetizing of all the Equids to the large face bass.

Sounds like my first experience with Keitech Swing Impacts with the "strong squid scent", sticker on the package. "How bad could it be?" My buddy asked as he opened the package in my truck at the beginning of a 5 hour drive to Bull Shoals from my house. Bad, really, really bad. Like someone had left a bucket of minnows in the sun for a couple days and then put them in the backseat of my truck kind of bad.

A-Jay, I've not tried this either. This must be a really potent sauce. Lord only knows what's really in this Donkey Sauce.
