The Rebel Blackstar

Featured Replies

I am strangely fascinated with this lure that I stumbled across while shopping at a local antique store. I of course bought that one.  What an out of the box attempt for Rebel.  Not often you see a big name venture that far out and attempt something that different.  They must have been short lived becouse I don't recall seeing these in stores.  Anyways....now I must collect them all!  Ebay awaits!

That’s a first for me. Never seen one. Hope goes well to get your hands on the ones you want.

I have a couple too still in the package that I bought at an estate sale. The line tie is made out of something like carbon fiber if I remember right. I think mine were a different style, would be interested to know how they fish.

The one I have has been fished to the point of needing new hooks.

The middle one does look really good.

These kinda look like googan hard baits.

Originality is not one of their strong points.

I still have a couple of them; one new in the package.  Never used 'em for bass...

Back in the day, they were the bomb for casting for salmonids off the Little Sodus Bay breakwater in Fair Haven on L. Ontario.

I bought one when they first came out. dont remember catching anything on it or what happened to it.probably lost to a tree or pickeral.
