Carp fishing Downtown Chicago

Ran across this video. I haven't fished the Chicago River from shore since I moved out of the city 20 years ago. Haven't been there by boat in a few years. Good populations of bass and crappie swimming around. Even caught a salmon once that made its way thru the locks that connect the river to Lake Michigan. Anyway, the video is put together well.

I was last on that river walk downtown 2 years ago. Crazy how much of a ghost town it is in this video. Covid related?

By the end of the video it’s completely packed, I think they arrived at sunrise and left just after noon

I've been there once . Went to the museum ,saw Sally the T-Rex, took the fairy boat  , the sail boat...stopped and looked at the carp . Those guys need Bass flipping sticks , round baitcasters  and a bigger net .
