Who uses white pearl color stick worms ? ... If so, how are you rigging and fishing them to imitate shad ? 

I think a white any baitfish type lure is an underutilized color...especially on a sunny day.

I have used white stick worms. I usually rig them weightless and fish them like any other Senko type bait.

White and Pearl are 2 different colors. Not that it really matters but just pointing it out. 
 

I have some white stick worms that produce decently for me. What I have noticed is any laminate with a Pearl or white side have been extremely effective for me. My favorite senko color is 901; Watermelon cream laminate.

 

Anything white/Pearl imitates baitfish well imo. 

Thanks for the replies - I should have stated Pearl or Pearl Silver flake ... I think on a VMC Drop Dead hook 3/32nd. oz. T-Rigged is where I will start letting the Pearl Silver stick worm (Yum) glide down aimlessly like a stunned shad . This time of year during / after a cold front you tend to see shad kills , so I thought about this Pearl stick worm do-nothing approach .

That's what I imagine a stick worm is supposed to imitate. I don't like using weighted hooks with senkos as it was made to be used weightless. But other brands' stick worms have more of a shimmy when some extra weight is added so it's almost necessary. 

 

I have thought about adding weight to target deeper water while still imitating a dying baitfish. The vmc gliding jig interests me as I think it perfect for this kind of application. Adds weight + flash + movement. Paired with a pearl stick worm it'll look like a lot like a fluttering shad.  I always see them in bargain bins at local tackle shops but have never tried one. 

 

I've tried something like that with a ghost ocho. It looked pretty good swimming, but I never had any luck. It should work, but I think there are better options available.

All 3 had the tail or claw dipped in Spike-It Dip-N-Glo Chartreuse Garlic 

 

The Senko was Texas Rigged weightless 

The Speed Craw & Worm were rigged with a 1/8-3/16 weight & reeled on top or just below the surface.

I have tried the #31 Tom mentioned above and it did well on a really stained lake when nothing else would but I haven't tried it since.  I should revisit this color.  

 

There are so many choices and not enough time to fish them all. 

I've done really well with a wacky rigged white stick worm or trick worm for post spawn smallies for some reason.
