  • Ever make that one cast where you know you'll never get bit? I made one of those last weekend. Also, ever realize you are still using a thirty year old nickname?

  • At least all five of my picks are fishing again tomorrow .

Pretty decent first day for me. 1135 points. I'll take it.

Going into the final round I have

Let's take it all, guys.

My normal fantasy team tanked, like horribly after day one. But my drain the lake team rocked it. 101 points out of first sitting 19th for the tourney. I have four fishing today but pretty sure I can’t make up the difference.

Big congrats to Austin Felix for getting his first Elite W. Well deserved to him and I'm sure we'll see him on the podium again at some point.

I personally finally had a good redemption tournament after a few mediocre events. With that being said, we have one event left and only 4 days to make picks. So start doing your research for the Mississippi River event.

Our current standings with just one event left are:

1 - Nitty Gritty 9944

2 - Guru 9906

3 - Flintbass 9887

4 - STX Hooker 9832

5 - Jeffray Gooch 9800

Scores are close with just 144 points separating our top 5.

Today is the last day to get picks in for the final event. Don't ruin your season by missing the final tournaments picks.

Done as soon as my Roster unlocked from Oahe.

Not to be technical about it, but the tournament doesn't start until Friday this time and therefore picks are not due until early Friday morning.  I believe they are starting this event a day later because of the event that just finished on Sunday at Oahe.

As of this moment (just checked) 1day 19hrs until it locks.

Interesting. When I checked it this morning when I woke up, it said 22 hours left to make picks. Good to know!

Haven’t caught any of the bass live but I’m currently sitting at 50th overall for DTL, 99.8th percentile!

2022 Season Recap

Champion - Guru825

Runner Up - Nitty Gritty Boy

And just like that, our 2022 season is a wrap. I'd like to thank all the people who played along this season and made this season super fun for all of us. I always look forward to talking with everyone before and after the events and seeing how everyone did. Having a large group of people playing along is what makes this group so fun. Huge shout out to Guru and Nitty Gritty for taking the top spots in the group. They both managed to break the 11k points mark, which means they averaged over 1100 points per event this year. We had a total of 66 people play along this year. Of that, we had 42 people who played every event, and 54 played 9/10 events. Overall, that's a pretty dedicated group of players and I appreciate all of you putting in the time to making picks for each event and playing along.

They usually open up the new season around January, so keep your eyes peeled for my thread for the 2023 season around then. Hopefully everyone returns and then some.

Fun season as always, and congrats to Guru825!

My season was very mediocre overall. I ended up at 80.9%, but that was just good enough to put me at 35th out of 66 among the BR league.  You guys are good.

However, I just got notification that I won a 4th place Rapala prize for my Team's finish at the Mississippi River, at 21st place. I had the following team:

A - Lester (4th)

B - Christie (14th)

C - Schmitt (1st)

D - Mueller (22nd)

E - Cherry (37th)

The prize rules say I will be getting a Rapala Cap, t-shirt, and 3 other misc Rapala products, total value of $50.  Neat!

On DTL I finishe 97.1%, and placed 600th overall....However, I see @Finessegenics ended at 99.9% in 24th!

Cool! Show us what you got when it comes in

Unfortunately, I couldn't get my hands on any prizes even though I did extremely well in DTL

Bassmaster Fantasy Fishing -- the last event this season, Mississippi River, I finished 21st overall with these picks:

A - Lester (4th)

B - Christie (14th)

C - Schmitt (1st)

D - Mueller (22nd)

E - Cherry (37th)

Which was good enough for an individual tournament 4th prize.
