Dec. kiss of death ain't got me yet!!! Caught my second best LM today. 6# on the nose. No biggie to you folks down south, but that's a pig here in OH. Ended up catching 7 and had a 4+ come off at boatside. Caught them all pitching a T-Rigged Sweet Craw. Forecast looks even better for tomorrow. Light winds and sunshine for the second day in a row 40 degree surface temp. Should be able to find some more shallow.

That's a very big boy here in NY as well. Big congratulations. That's a great Bass no matter what season you catch him in!

Temps are way above normal the last few days into this week. I went fishing this morning and got skunked. First time in awhile. Going to try again in a few days. It will be hibernation time for me until early April.

You're just a bit north of me, but close enough that the warm front starting Wednesday through Thursday might get them moving some. Weather wise it's nearly a duplication of this past Friday through Saturday. Overnight temps both days in the low 50s and a 11 mph southern wind with total cloud cover to blot out the moon should make Thursday afternoon until 11 pm a nice window for bites. Unless I get hit by a meteor beforehand I'll be wade fishing a lake Thursday night.

Thanks. That's the goal. I spend alot of time fishing places most folks won't put a bait into.

That big girl today came out of the heart of the pine on the left. Top of the tree is in about 9'. She was suspended tight up under a thick bough soaking up the suns warmth. She was no more than 2' down. I was lucky to stick her. She caught me WAY out of position. As the bait hit the water, I lifted my rod to 12 o'clock letting line out so my bait could get to the bottom. Just as I got to 12 the limb she was under shook. OH CRAP!!! I reeled down and when I got the slack out she was just sitting there with it like the bigguns often do. Stuck her right in the crusher. Gotta love those snelled flippin hooks. No way she was coming off. Spent about 20min picking those trees apart and caught two more keepers out of them. Can't wait to get back out there tomorrow.

Ive caught one december bass
