I was looking into buying some basic fly tying materials such as Indian Rooster necks for streamers, Indian hen necks for dries, maribu, chanile, waxed thread etc etc who has the best deals online?

LurePartsOnline and JStockard, for the most part.  Saltwaterflies.com, too, and many others.  Do a search for fly tying materials.

Little river outfitters and bass pro shops 

On line, Feathercraft and the Fly Fishers shop are the ones I use most often, decent selection of materials and good service.  I often buy hooks from Barlow's and Jann's Netcraft, particularly for my bass flies and some items that are no longer popular in Fly Fishing catalogs. Locally, there's a TCO fly shop.  My sister gave two gift cards, a belated one for my birthday and one for Christmas.  I've got $175 to spend, maybe part of it on a new intermediate line for my 8 wgt and the rest on hooks and materials.

If you're planning on tying dries for trout, then I would suggest you get a decent neck, a grizzly neck would be a good choice, other wise the necks you mentioned would work for bass and other warm water patterns.

All the ones mentioned above. I recently got some white bucktail on Amazon (I'll have to check the seller) for a good price. If you do buy online and the seller actually has the item(s) in stock, make sure you check the shipping rates. I'm sure shipping was a little pricey for the holiday's but some sellers like to add a little extra for "handling".

Yeah I was looking at the nice grizzly rooster necks, they start at 50$ which is kinda yikes for me, but I'm going to have to bite the bullet eventually

I think that is regional becasue my Bass pro shop has a horrible fly tying selection.  We do have a local place that has a killer fly tying section but when I go online it is usually one of the bigger places like. feather-craft because I trust the quality.  I try and buy feathers and most naturals in person if possible because then I can see the consistency and pick the best pieces.  Synthetics, hooks etc...I go online to the cheapest spot I can find for the most part.

Does it have to be a n online seller. If there’s a Sportsmans Warehouse close to you, check them out. A friend of mine ties and he says they have a big selection and good prices. He buys there rather than online
