I have some 3.2” swimbaits that I am wanting to fish a lot this year but every head I am finding either has too long of a shank or is a light weight on a light wire. I’d like to be at least at a 1/4 but a 3/8 would be awesome. I want a heavier hook that I can lean into a bit. Any recommendations?

Not open hook, but I really like FinTech.  They have a couple styles that might work for you.

Eyestrike Trout Eye finesse sounds like the ticket. Or normal trout eye. I fish the normal on 3” zman minnows a ton in fresh and saltwater.

Kalin's ultimate saltwater bullet jig comes with a stout 3/0 hook in 1/4 & 3/8 oz, owner makes a great bullet jig head too.

Strike King Baby Squadron heads are pretty cheap, fit 3.3” Keitech perfectly, and have a heavier hook.  I use them on MH casting gear and come in 3/16 and 5/16.

Haven’t tried these yet, but are they any longer than the squadrons?  I haven’t found a great match for 3.8’s yet!

The SW Assasian jigheads have a super stout 3x short shank mustads.  I use them for 3-4" flukes.  They wont bend on FW bass.

I really like the look of these. Wish they had eyes. I’ll give them a try though!
