That probably takes some time combatting it where you live. And a garage haha

Only time it's on my truck is when I'm towing.

And clearly never sees at most wicked road salt.

I think TN hit a salt lottery this year. They were laying it down THICK all winter. One time they coated about every road and we got absolutely no precip. My buddy was driving down Rutledge pike and he said he might as well have been on a gravel road the salt was so deep

Here too.

Helps keep the roads side weeds under control in the spring . . . .

I don't do rust ~ on anything.

Rapid Hitch with the locking pins is the way to go.

AJ, I have been looking at an adjustable aluminum hitch.   I just wasn’t sure about them.   Why did you pick Rapid Hitch?   I haven’t had a big problem with rust, but like the adjustability, lighter weight, and no rust factor.
Thanks

This thread just popped into mind…………

I was just helping my father in law get some lumber, we strapped it to a hay wagon. He said let’s put a different hitch on your truck with no ball for the wagon, here’s what mine looked like when I took it off hahaha .  I can take that ball off with a pipe wrench, I do it all the time

Heck I’ve got rust between most of my toes, #rodehardandputupwet

One of my buddies in Michigan doesn’t do rust either.  He has a stainless hitch ball and bar.  Pricey but it won’t rust.

Spend the salt budget this year or lose it next year.
