For post - spawn bass , what is your favorite bluegill imitating  top water popper ?

Why the Popmax of course.

(I'm blinking "Large Boss Pop" like on a hostage video).

Popmax.  The only color I use is Python, but there are a couple nice blue gill patterns.

I am a BIG fan of the PopMax, but for little fish nothing beats the 

Zara Puppy, black & silver.

For those of us who haven’t committed to poppers with $20 lures yet, I did a similar deep dive on this forum two weeks ago with the same question. I came to the yo zuri 3db as my answer for retrying poppers. A third of the price of the pop max, good reviews, versatile action. I fished one for about an hour last week before I realized they didn’t want topwaters and was impressed. It bloops, it walks, it casts well on a MH.  I haven’t fished it enough to say it catches fish, though others here vouch for that. 
 

 

I don't get to throw treble topwaters that often, cause we get so much floating detritus from recreational boats that I'm almost stuck with frogs only for a few months, and not quite as affordable as the yo-zuri, but the R2S bubble walker has caught fish for me, even in the low 50's water temp.  Easy to get the desired action and produces even dead sticking.  So far, good enough for me.

Not really a popper guy, but found a Kelly J prop bait in sunfish

its a nice difference while being similar

 

X2 on Kelly JR prop bait as a gill imitator post spawn.

Also x2 on Yo Zuri poppers. The LC G Splash replaced my old Zell Pops but recently  in Florida I tried out a Yo Zuri inshore popper and it had good action, juvenile tarpon were smashing it.

Well, if we are giving up secrets like a washed up pro on YT, get the Magnum one and take off the split ring.
