Hold onto the truck and wait for someone that bought a boat in the last couple years and realized it wasn’t ‘for them’ and wants to unload.

 

Base model trucks (4x4) of all manufacturers are $50,000+. Do you want to spend that?

in general, if you have to sell something to buy something else you cant afford it. 

 

step one is to quit considering being boatless, "suffering".  that's dramatic.  suffering is something else altogether in my opinion.  there is a dude out there with a Janky truck and no bass boat, wishing he at least had a decent truck.

Boats are strictly a luxury item, including a used beat up plastic $50 craigslist canoe. Such a vessel will find a way to suck that last buck out of your wallet, maybe even a few dollars that haven't made it to your wallet yet.

Your post reminded me of a video I saw G-Man post recently.  Perhaps it will help the OP with his perspective of "suffering'. 

 

 

I think we're focusing a bit too much on the use of the word "suffer". It's okay to complain even though you aren't a paraplegic.
