Thanks all, seems like folks use pretty much everything without issue. Going to look into a tablet.

i went tablet only about 5 years ago.  iPad in my case. The last straw was photography but the new photos does enough for what I need with some added ’other’ app support. I also have a full suite of Microsoft applications on it for when I want to do something for work on it.

The only thing(s) I have that are Micro-snert is the OS on my desktop and netbook

For office-suite - Libre on the Windows machines, Android Open Office on the phone & tablet...both totally compatible with MS-Office.

i have the Microsoft suite because that’s what we use at work. Since it is office 365, the app is free (a login is paid, but the login comes part of my work account). It means everything from work that I use (which isn’t often) works perfectly. I also have Google sheets and the word equivalent.

99.9% for me.

If you end up using a phone or tablet, I’d suggest getting a wireless keyboard to make it easier for you to type. No more mashing more than one key with fat fingers. Amazon has good prices on them

iPad.

I used to check the forums on my desktop at work but after an update it became a hassle.

iPad for me too.

PC.

I get claustrophobic or something when I have to do anything in a browser on my phone. Like I wanna kill something after a few minutes.

I go to my doctor's office and the gal says "Scan this QR code and fill out the form on your phone please" (every time I go)

"How about I tear your nails out one at a time instead?"

Too much?
