I have two of those smoky joe jr grills, you are right! Pretty sweet little grills!

Doh.  I meant Kamado Joe Jr, but the only difference is low heat control.

Ah. I was thinking of the little tiny round ones

It is rather teeny, but big enough for 1.5 racks of ribs without a rack or enough food for a family of 4.  It uses NO charcoal, crazy how efficient it is.  A bit more up front, but well worth it.  It has completely replaced my desire to ever use the gas grill.

Nothing fancy. Mostly hot dogs, Brats, burgers, corn on the cob and those beyond burgers.

I grill year round but this year hasn't been anything spectacular.  The usual burgers, sausages, hot dogs steaks, chicken vegetables etc...I haven't even used my smoker muych either but this summer blew by.  I taught summer school like usual and then we had some car and house repairs that took up some time and on teh 22nd I report back for next school year.

It all was kind of a blur really

I admire you northerners who grill year round in the subzero temps.  I don't use my propane grill when its that cold out, primarily because it just takes way too much propane to heat it up.  I'll use it when I get a warm 40 degree day though sometimes.

I have an electric Showtime Rotisserie that I use in the winter.  It works awesome on whole chickens, rump roasts, and hams.

Maybe it’s just the type/make of bbq, but mine heats right up, even when it’s -20 outside. I have a 4 burner Kitchenaid, and it only takes a couple minutes max for it to be up to grilling temps.

I go year round as well. I have pretty mild temps throughout the year.

‘grilling in stifling heat is worse.   Way worse than winter.

My grill maybe takes 5 minutes more when it is super cold.  The pizza oven will even still hit 900F, although that takes 30 instead of 20 then.
