anyone use a dedicated Kaitech/Paddletail rod?

 I was thinking of picking up a dobyns rod for just this purpose, so would love to hear which model 

Not dedicated but I throw them on a couple rods. Depends on which size and weighted or not.  A 4.8 on an eighth ounce hook will fish on any MH rod. 3.3 on an eighth almost needs a true medium. 

4.3 and 4.8 size on a MH regular Daiwa.

Paddle tail like a 5” largo Shad and keitech on underspins I have a Megabass Destroyer p5 dark sleeper that works great. 
 

Will also throw the paddletail on a Falcon 7’ MHF (all around F). This is soon to be replaced with a Daiwa Elite 7’3” MHF multi purpose rod. Should be fine for the same. 

Big fan of my Kaden 744 for 3.5's and up. Ark Essence 7-4 MH R is excellent too.

My favorite rod to use for paddletails is a medium power fast action. If I was throwing over 5" baits, I'd move up to MH.
