Would you rather win a free oil change in the Meineke Car Care Bowl or a chicken sandwich in the Chik Fil-A Bowl?  lol

  • Oh you’ll be back…….. been there haha

  • That happens a lot in sports.  If the "best" team won every year, they would crown the regular season champion the winner.  One and done formats allows a team to get hot at the right time. I don

They've already done that with about 40 useless bowl games.  Finishing 6-6 is a terrible criteria for bowl qualification.  It has nothing to do with earning a "playoff spot" anymore with most of these bowls and everything to do with marketing/revenue.

I agree with this 100%. The bowl games are pretty watered down now and have been for a while. I often wonder how there’s a ROI for some of these companies who sponsor the smaller game with .500 teams.
