Hey y’all,

 

Thats right. It’s that time for me. It’s time to retire my severely worn out baseball cap. I have worn it for years on every fishing trip, but it is on its last leg. The bill is falling apart, there are stains on the front, the back mesh is all torn up, the cap is misshapen. 
 

All I can say is thanks for the good times buddy (talking to the cap now) and live a happy retirement ?

 

Now I need a new hat

Maybe your ball cap can go fishing some of us retired guys.  We go most weekdays. ?
 

It’s just getting broken in!  My wife read an article about cleaning hats by putting them in the dishwasher.  I let her do it to a few but kept the really lucky ones out because I was afraid she would wash all of the mojo out.?

I agree with @TOXIC, just getting broken in. Doesn’t sound like anything duct tape wouldn’t fix. ?

Hilarious timing, I threw out my favorite earlier this week. It’s embarrassing I still had it, haven’t worn it in a decade or more. I took some photos for the archives, had it since 1992. I kind of felt like I should have some sort of funeral. I’m not even a redskins fan, not sure how I even got it but I wore the heck out of it (as you can see). 

 

 

 

this hat went fishing all over Jackson hole, WY when I was 12 years old. I even had a runaway horse fling it off my head but I went back and found it 

 

Well it outlasted my whirlpool washer.
