Cloudy this afternoon and quite windy today. I’ll be out around noon - sunset. With the wind really kicking and clouds, hope I can get a spinnerbait bite going…. I always hope that… but going to remain open minded. I won’t be able to fish on the bottom as easily. Maybe the lipless will produce again for me. Just that one fish yesterday in 2hr but happy to not get skunked.

No plan. Going to start where I did yesterday and just keep an eye out for things

@TnRiver46 I tried your fluke and jig head and liked what I could do with it, just didn’t get any bites. @WRB was right, casting distance is suffering with that bait. It helps to have something that can get out farther.

I just got a nice one with it……..

I ain’t saying it won’t catch them! It’s still in my rotation.

Used to have a couple. I gave them away.

You fishing today too?

Just got in. Was hard to find open water today as we were in the low 20's overnight. Still managed five, all on the Sleeper.

+3 spinnerbait and +1 lipless yesterday

After the past couple days and considering heavy winds again today, I’ll only be going out with my spinnerbait and lipless rods today. Feel like I might have dialed in on a bite. We’ll see what happens today.

Fishing tomorrow for a good while. Real decent weather, winds up to 14mph. Looks like the last nice day for a while. Days after that are going to be really cold. With the high winds again, Im expecting a spinnerbait to be a big player yet again. Looking forward to it! I’m going to do quite a bit of rigging and planning tonight
