They went up $10 each.

Rods went up to under the Shimano brand tree as well NRX's went up $25 and I think Conquests went up $40 if I'm not mistaken.

While I enjoy my NRX+ rods they and other Shimano products have increased price rapidly over the last year compared to most brands. The Expride isn’t a bargain at almost $300 with tax and the Adrena is effectively off the table. Part of it is they are made in china, part of it is a 1 year warranty shouldn’t be acceptable with anything over $100 dollars. I guess for me it’s down to St. Croix. I don’t even know if Kistler or Dobyns roll their own blanks anymore.

I'm glad the Bait Monkey bit me last month. I saved a few bucks.

I missed out on a Curado 201HG at my local Academy on clearance for 100 bucks last week. Still salty about that one hah....

Kistler

A while back kistler used NFC blanks, now they use a mystery blank. When they switched blanks the prices went up two times in a year. Lame

I noticed the imx-pro crankbait rod I was looking at went to $380 ?

Curado 300K, Tranx 300 and Tranx 400 all went up $10 as well. I imagine most prices went up. On the other hand, TW is selling the SLX 150 for $74.99

Just went this route on my last several rod purchases. I'd like to support USA products as much as possible. St. Croix rods are great and so is the customer service. Not going back.

Pretty sure Dobyns have always been made in Asia (Taiwan or Korea to be exact I believe). Gary has never kept that a secret.

There're many hidden gems in Japan used market like Rakuten, Mercari, and Yahoo! Japan Auction. I got this 13 Metanium for less than $100. Except a couple tiny scratches on the top, it is as smooth as a new one.

I believe the ZBone and Helium both use the Toray T1100.
