@PhishLI has some with holes in his rear.  Not sure I'd want to hang any lures with his style.  If you sit down, it could spell REAL trouble.

 

Here is my theory with @Team9nine holey jeans.  He started catching so many fish with that one zman elaztech and found himself nearing a record, so he just kept it rolling.  Holey jeans and all.  The holes got worse, but he feared not reaching the record if he changed his pants.  I don't think the goal of jeans were to last as long as elaztech but he made it happen.

When I was a teen I was getting into metal music and all my jeans were just right when they started to fall apart. My mom would throw them in the trash and I would get them out, wash them and wear them again. If she only knew what a forward thinker I was. Funny thing is this is now much more of a women's style than men's.

I've seen a bunch of younger people walking around wearing something similar. And to be honest, I'm very proud of the people who wear these. They obviously threw themselves on a grenade and are wearing the jeans as a reminder of their bravery... ?

At least you don't have hair like those dudes.  God help us if it ever came to that.

the older generation has been side-eyeing the younger generation since the loin cloth, i imagine.  all for what they wear and now they keep their hair.

 

personally, i dont care much about any of it.  i do question that prison-fashion where they all let the pants hang way down below their butts.  they cant even walk correctly.  that is a function question, not a fashion question in my mind.
