Two others put holes in their boats on that exact same buoy as well.....this was all caused by B.A.S.S., and holding a derby where they didn't have adequate ramps to handle the load.

I wouldn’t say “caused” by bass, usually it would be the person at the steering wheel

I mean it's their responsibility to ensure adequate and safe launching.  Sure they hit the buoy, but B.A.S.S. created the situation for them.  

 

Really hate seeing that, that's practically a brand new fully loaded Caymas.   Dream rig.

Couldn't possibly disagree more.

Being on plane, on ANY body of water, IN THE DARK is an accident waiting to happen.

Especially in unfamiliar water.

Akin to turning the headlights off on your truck at highway speed.

Why ?

The act itself was part of my job description for at least 10 years before Mr MILLIKEN was born.

Often times a matter of life and death, still unsafe.

I Never do it now. 

Safe operation is solely the responsibility of the vessel operator.

I about hit one of those main channel buoys in the dark back in my younger days, I rarely go over 10-15 mph in the dark anymore, usually more like 5-7 mph. Slow enough to where it’s a minor impact when ramping floating logs .

He never fished Toledo Bend except for one day right before they closed off limits period as well.

 

I think the common denotator is that he excels fishing for big FLGM, Ben seems to be in play more on big Bass fisheries.   Eufaula, Toledo Bend, and now Harris Chain.   He sucked at the grinders, and also sucked at the SM events up north but I suspect that will change in the future.    

 

3/9 events he's fished extremely well....might just be enough to get him on the Elite Series next year.  

Bobby lane is cracking me up. He broke off a bait under a dock and picked up another rod and casted it right into the dock. Then he says “so I’ve got no fish in the box on a very important day…… all I gotta do is keep banging docks like I just did……”

Man I wish BASS would hire better IT people, BASS Live is a joke most days, whether it's audio issues, or now today they've missed 30mins of action by not having transitioned from FS1 to Bass Live....seriously disappointing, and hard to be a fan when you can't follow the sport.   

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.....wow way to go Mr. Milliken, can't wait to watch him on BASS Live next year all the time on the Elites as BASS is going to really showcase him next year I'm sure.

 

Other the Ben, BASS has to be the most happy that he snuck in there.    Let's Go MFers!

Yeah I think he even surprised himself, I mean he threw the equivalent of a 50yd Hail Mary at Harris Chain this weekend, crazy!

He actually got 9th, so he would have been in either way, but he started out the day in 10th, which was the last spot because of Kenta, mid day he was as high as 12th, and then he finished in 9th.    Absolute rollercoaster of a day for him.
