What's your water quality like? Clear or muddy?

Mostly in between but often on the clearer side of middle. Rarely on the very muddy side.

Great lure to give a newer fisherman. 1/4oz black, far cast, let it hit bottom and then a slow steady retrieve. Small mouth love it. I'd guess closest thing is a leech.

I also drift these in 1/8oz for river smallies and have caught a lot of trout on accident too.

Only thing I could get bit on yesterday! Lakes were frozen on Saturday! Water was COLD!!

I always keep them on hand.  Use them in the same situation as I do a roadrunner.  When I can't get the bass to bite anything else....I go small.  (saltwater also)

Mostly maribou on a jig
